Backend Java Developer

We are looking for candidates to join us in creating a team for an Abu Dhabi-based client. The client is a "neobank," meaning they provide banking services without an actual physical location. They are looking to expand their product with additional product features (e.g. bookkeeping for micro businesses).

The tech stack

• Java 11 openJDK, Spring Boot, Spring, Azure SDK, Kafka (via Spring) and MongoDB
• DevOps: Azure pipelines go into Azure AKS
• Some usage of: Lombok, helper libs, etc.
• All Service to Service communication is happening via Kafka or REST client and Spring MVC
• Some usage of Liqubase but not a lot.
• ORM for Mongodb
• Different projects using either MongoDB directly or Cosmos & Azure mongo
• Maven - for dependency management and builds

Requirements

• 3+ years working as a Backend Developer in Spring Boot
• English language proficiency: Full business proficiency (Intermediate to Advanced)
• Knowledge of modern architectural patterns
• Experience of creating microservice architecture
• The ability to write clean and neat code that is easy to maintain
• Experience with Git
